Increasing your HP – A Minor Guide

Hello folks~

I came across a lot of classes who struggle to survive while training/bossing/PQing with others. I’d like to list out several helpful hints that will help contribute these factors.

**Please take note that this isn’t a full blast on guide because I don’t exactly know the formulas of how much MP is taken away to raise HP, how much HP is added when AP is applied…etc for each class. The Passive Method terms may not be correct just so you know~**

HP Passive Methods

Requirements:
– INT Gear (see a further section on this page)
– Lots of NX
– A moderate amount of mesos

  • HP Washing: If you have plenty of dollars that you can spend on the game, you can buy AP resets from Cash Shop to take away points from MP (highly recommended so you don’t lose other stats) and add them onto HP.
If you are doing this as a first timer, you will notice that you can’t subtract any MP points.- First, you take one AP reset to take away either STR, DEX, INT, LUK. It’s highly recommended that you take away a secondary stat but if that 1 point is really needed to equip your stuff, use your main stat (assuming that your other stats that doesn’t contribute to your job is at a base of 4). After that, you take that point and put it to MP (don’t freak out just yet).- Next, you can subtract as many points from MP to put into HP now! There is a set formula of the minimum MP that every class has to have but unfortunately I do not know any sources to those formulas. Once you think you are done your HP washing, you take that point implanted into your MP and place it back to the stat that you want.
  • Double-HP Washing: I heard about this method but I’m not exactly too sure about how it works. I do believe it’s a very similar method to the above but when you level, you place 5 AP points into your MP. [If you would like to explain to me how it works, feel free to e-mail your description and I’ll gladly credit you]
  • Willpower leveling (You must be level 30 in order to see your personality traits): For every 5 levels of leveling this trait, you gain additional stats of +100 HP, +5 M.DEF and DEF, +1 status resistance. This is very tedious and long way of gaining HP but it’s worth it for those who are not funded in NX and mesos like I am. Please note that you can only gain up to 500 points of willpower per day. HP Equips

There are plenty of equips that add HP but please keep in mind that a majority of them will hinder your damage. Such an example would be the Emergency Rescue Tube which adds +150 HP but I highly doubt that you will be using that as your main weapon for any class. However, these HP equips that will hinder your damage will be useful for surviving boss runs if you are NOT expected to attack.

As for this section, I will list out the equips that shouldn’t hinder your damage too much:

Level 0

  • House Key: +200 HP and MP. No slots, cannot be potential’d.
NOTE: You must have level 30 charm and get a Rose Clipping (ETC item, NOT the pocket item that can be bought from Henesys Market) to complete a quest that will allow you to get a pocket slot.

Level 70

  • Red Rex’s Earrings: +3 str and dex, +30 M.DEF, +10% HP 5 slots. It is required that you repair them once in awhile when durability reaches to 0%.
  • Blue Rex’s Earrings: +3 dex and luk, +30 M.DEF, +10% HP 5 slots. It is required that you repair them once in awhile when durability reaches to 0%.
  • Green Rex’s Earrings: +3 int and luk, +30 M.DEF, +10% HP 5 slots. It is required that you repair them once in awhile when durability reaches to 0%.

Level 100

  • Chaos Zakum Helmet: +22 all stats, +10% HP and MP,+35 Acc,  +35 Avoid, +180 M.DEF and DEF 10 Ssots

Level 110

  • Mark of Naricain: +5 all stats, +10 att and m.g att, +300 HP and MP, +5 speed and jump, +15 acc. No slots, cannot be potential’d.

  • Perfect Blue Rex’s Earrings: +8 dex and luk, +1 att and m.g att, +100 M.DEF and DEF, +10% HP 5 slots. It is required that you repair them once in awhile when durability reaches to 0%.
  • Perfect Green Rex’s Earrings: +8 int and luk, +1 att and m.g att, +100 M.DEF and DEF, +10% HP 5 slots. It is required that you repair them once in awhile when durability reaches to 0%.

Gaining more MP

This is very necessary if you are to go through the path of HP washing. Unfortunately, leveling with INT will be deemed effortless patches after the Legends update (according to orangemushroom of WordPress, he said that there will be an adjusted formula for gaining MP for all classes that level).

  • Super-INT Washing: This is basically where you pump in a crap ton of INT for your level ups and using NO other stat per level up. It will be overly expensive; be prepared to spend a LOT on NX if full AP resets are not available when you decide that your character is finished with getting the amount of MP that you want for pumping in HP.
  • Empathy leveling (You must be level 30 in order to see your personality traits): For every 5 levels of leveling this trait, you gain additional stats of +100 MP, +1.5% Quest EXP. This is very tedious and long way of gaining MP but it’s worth it for those who cannot afford heavy leveling and INT equips. Please note that you can only gain up to 500 points of Empathy per day. For a table of traits, please this basilmarketpage. If I am correct, you should be able to subtract your MP points gained from Empathy levels to put into HP. If anyone would like to confirm this, please let me know.
